WHAT IS AN “ADVENTURE DOGS” SESSION?
“Adventure Dogs” is a summer fundraising project created by Unleash Pet Photography for outdoorsy dogs like yours. 🐶 ❤️
This project is an amazing opportunity to have beautiful, fun, creative outdoor portraits of your dog(s) that celebrate their amazing, joyous personalities.
When I have completed all of the sessions, I will host a fundraising photo contest to see whose image will be in the very first “Adventure Dogs Calendar”, which I’m sure will become a treasured keepsake. 😍

HOW MUCH?
$75.00+ taxes (There is no additional cost for multiple dogs, I encourage you to include your whole pack.)
Booking fee is non-refundable and non-transferrable

August 2023 Sat/Sun at 10:00am and 3:00pm
These sessions will happen rain or shine so bring a rain jacket. ☂️
WHERE
The Avonmore Beach is situated between Long Sault and Cornwall along the beautiful St-Lawrence River. Make a day of it and enjoy the many things the St. Lawrence River has to offer.
WHAT IS INCLUDED?
FULL PET PHOTOGRAPHY EXPERIENCE: We will have fun playing and splashing around at the beach with your dog(s). (value $175)
FEATURE: A chance to be featured in this year’s “Adventure Dogs Calendar”. (value $75)
PRE-SALE SPECIAL PRICE: A month before the calendars are made available to the public, you will have the opportunity to purchase calendars at the special discounted price.

WHAT TO EXPECT
STEP 1: Special Adventure Dogs Portrait Session
Upon arriving at the Avonmore Beach we will start off by taking pictures along the beach side, then we will get wet and start having fun in the water. Session time is about 60 minutes depending on how many dogs you have.
STEP 2: Break Time
After your photo session, you and your dog(s) will take a well deserved 40 minute break to dry off and relax under a tree, while I prepare your images for your viewing.
STEP 3: The big reveal
You don’t have to book another appointment for this. After your break, you will come inside my air-conditioned Mobile Studio where you will be able to view the proof images right away! I will help you select your most favourite images and help to design custom artwork for your home. This takes about 20 minutes or so.
Expect to spend about 2-3 hours in total, start to finish. (depending on how many dogs you have)

ABOUT THE CHARITY
The FAM Network fosters animals for survivors and their children who need to exit from domestic violence into the safety of local Violence Against Women (VAW) shelters or into a Transitional Housing Support Program.
They are veterinary clinics, fosters, behaviourists and sometimes your next-door neighbour.
They provide necessary veterinary intake and long or short-term fostering for the duration of a survivor’s stay in a shelter or in a THSP.
Upon exiting a shelter, they reunite owners with their pets so that they can move into a better future together. 🐾❤️

Are digital files included?
Digital files are purchased separately from the $75 booking fee. During your Big reveal, you will have access to exclusive Special Packages as well as all of my regular products. 5% of all product sales will ALSO be donated to FAM Network. Packages start at $795, to find out more click here.
What if my dog has to stay on a leash?
For the majority of session the dogs are kept on a leash – I simply remove the leash in photoshop afterwards. If your dog usually wears a harness, please also bring a collar and fixed leash, as I can photoshop a leash out of the images afterwards, whereas harness’ are not usually possible to remove.
What if my dog is not an “adventure Dog” aND/OR Doesn’t swim? 😆
No worries, not all dogs are built for adventuring 😉 like the beautiful Chihuahuas above! The location has beautiful waterside rocks we can photograph on and most of the images are taken in the shallow water where the dogs can touch the ground or stand on a rock.
What can i do to prepare for the session?
This is a hands-on experience! You will have the opportunity to be actively involved in your session, such as holding your fur-kid in prime position on their leash or holding a treat above the camera, so wear comfy clothes and sturdy shoes you don’t mind getting wet and dirty.
HELPER: Find a human helper if you have more than one dog. You'll be helping me with the dog that is being photographed so we will need another pair of hands.🐾
PACK:
Treats and/or Toys that your pet Absolutely Loves, we will use them as motivators.
Towels
Leash and collar (avoid harness unless you want to include them in the images.)
Watercraft if you want images of your dog(s) on it. ( Canoe, Kayak, paddle board, Don’t forget their lifejacket )🏄🏻♂️
Rain jacket incase it rains🌧

SAFETY: Ensure dogs arrive on leash. The beach is a dog friendly beach so their will be other dogs there but we will be at the other end of the beach away from everyone.
BREATH: There is no pressure for your pet(s) to behave or perform! We are going to have fun in a positive environment, if something doesn't work out, no worries we will try something else. 🧘🏻♀️
