The NEW Mobile Studio

OMG!! This is actually happening!! 😱

When I first started as a photographer I was mostly an “outdoor” Pet Photographer and I quickly realized that I no longer wanted to be at the mercy of the weather.

After looking into the possibility of opening up a studio space, I decided to invest in converting a cargo trailer into a mobile studio instead. This will allow me to service a larger client base all year round.

Having a custom studio inside a cargo trailer also reduces my local carbon emissions footprint through less heating and cooling which is very important to me as an Eco-Friendly business.

The 160 square foot studio will include the following key elements:

• Interior Fluorescent/Exterior LED lighting

• Air conditioning/heating unit

• Side step and handle for door

• Small Office Space

• Seating/Viewing area

• Studio Space

The idea is that I will bring the mobile studio to my client’s homes. Each session will take around 45 minutes and during that time I will take a series of pet portrait images using studio lighting against a studio backdrop.

After the photo session, the client and their pet will take a well deserved 15 minute break while I prepare the images for the viewing.

After the break, the images will be loaded straight onto the TV screen for the client to view and select any products they may like.

Doing the photography session, viewing of the images and the purchasing of products all at once removes the need to schedule multiple appointments, saves in gas and travel time.
