Black & White Project- Beth Alexander is a Pet Photographer that services Ottawa to Cornwall and everything in between!

A black and white photograph is an image where all colour has been removed (either in the digital process or through the choice of film). It consists of shades of grey tone that generally go from dark (black) to light (white). A monochrome image also has the colour removed.

Even though we now have high-tech cameras with tons of gigapixels and state of the art colour processors, I believe that a black and white photograph is still the most dramatic method of capturing a feeling or a scene.

Colour is Descriptive.
Black and White is Interpretive.
