“Jessie is 12 years old and we’ve had her since before the girls were born. She’s super loving and protective of our family but she’s especially attached to me.
If I leave a room for more than 30 seconds she comes to find out where I’ve settled. If I go to take a shower she’ll lay on the mat outside the tub. If I disappear to take a nap, I hear her climbing up the stairs right after my head hits the pillow. If I’ve closed the door I know that I’m getting up to let her in, otherwise she’ll sit outside my door whimpering and “knocking” until I let her in. ”
“She hates being left home alone and when we come back from a long outing she greets us with ear-piercing howls which obviously mean, “How dare you leave me alone in this house with that cat all day long. It’s been absolutely miserable and I’ve been counting the seconds waiting for you to get back. Don’t ever do that to me again!””
