“After my mother passed away from cancer about 2 years ago, I finally decided it was time to get a dog with my boyfriend. We were in search for a furry companion to take care of, and to bring more happiness into the family. I reached out to a local breeder and he got back to us within 6 hours, telling me he had a pup waiting for us. It was like a dream come true. The breeder told us that we would usually have at least a year’s wait for these corgi pups, but fortunately I contacted him just in time and we had the right criteria/circumstances for Leo.

It was like my mom had gifted him to us knowing he would be the sunshine we needed after she left us. Leo has been helping us look at life in a different perspective, bringing us contagious smiles and laughter ever since.

I love how energetic Leo is, no matter how many activities we have in a day. He never says “no” to play fetch or to a nice long walk! He definitely changed our lifestyle for the better and makes us more active. Since he’s always alert and active, we especially love the cuddles he gives us on the rare occasions when he’s tired.

Then about 2 years later, Leo’s little brother, Wally, became an extended member of our family! He’s from the same parents as Leo and was brought home to my cousin and her boyfriend.” - Annie

If you were going to interview your pet what question would you ask?

I would ask Leo why he always barks at us when we open/close windows, blinds, and sliding doors?🤷‍♀️

Was there something you were worried about that your pet would do or not do before your photography session?

Leo is high energy, so sometimes he doesn’t stay in one spot for too long, but treats and squeaky toys help a lot.

Why did you decide on professional Pet Photography?

We met Beth at last year’s Pet Expo and she took amazing Christmas photos for Leo. We then entered her Christmas/New Year’s photo contest and won a free photo shoot with her. The contest was so much fun and so was the photography session.
